We have come to measure things by whether or not they have "made it over the Atlantic." Tin Tin and Enid Blyton didn't quite make it west of the over-sized lake while chocolate chips and "Oh My Gods" are only starting to infiltrate eastward. I vouch for Harvard commas and Brent assures me that Spar and spa are pronounced the same. After 8 years of working, 7 years of studying, 4 years of Cape Towning together, and 28 and 25 years of being alive, it is time to begin the long swim west.
